Lift passes from Champagny-en-Vanoise

Choose restricted Champagny coverage for suitable early lesson levels, La Plagne for wider local skiing, and Paradiski if you intend to cross to Les Arcs / Peisey-Vallandry. Confirm current products with the official seller.

The right ski pass is the one that covers the terrain you will actually use. From Champagny, buying the widest pass before arranging beginner lessons can mean paying for lifts you do not need.

The ESF pass guidance specifically distinguishes beginner/early levels from those needing La Plagne coverage. It also describes buying progressively for first-timers as an alternative to an inclusive package. Follow the instructor’s advice for your course; a limited pass does not cover every piste visible on the full map.

Count ski days before choosing duration

Separate arrival day, full ski days and departure day. A week in an apartment does not necessarily mean seven days on the lifts. If you plan a Nordic or rest day, compare the available durations and terms rather than assuming the longest consecutive product is best.

Check the age bands for each person, what proof is required, and whether any family offer applies to your actual group. For young children, a zero-price entitlement can still require a physical pass: ESF says under-fives using the ski area need a free pass collected from the sales point. Confirm the seller’s current process.

Purchase, collection and extras

Use the official La Plagne lift-pass shop. Check the start date, coverage, collection location in Champagny and whether an existing hands-free card can be reloaded. Keep the order confirmation accessible when travelling.

Compare the final total in EUR, including card media, optional insurance and any package inclusions. Read cancellation, refund and closure terms before paying. Ski lessons, hire equipment and Nordic access are separate purchases unless the selected offer expressly includes them.

Common questions

Do beginners need a full Paradiski pass?

Usually their immediate decision is restricted beginner coverage versus La Plagne, following the school’s advice. Paradiski is for wider exploration and is not automatically needed for first lessons.

Does a ski lesson include the lift pass?

Only if the booked package explicitly says so. ESF describes optional lesson-and-pass formulas as well as courses requiring a separately purchased pass.

Where can I check current pass prices?

Use the official La Plagne lift-pass shop for your dates, ages and coverage. Check the final total and conditions before paying.
